Terry Kennedy

Terry has had extensive experience in the media since 1982 when he joined the Ten Network. He's hosted and called many sporting events. Although he has a particular passion for rugby league and racing, he has a solid overall knowledge of most sports which is vital in his role as co-hosts with Michael Slater of The Big Sports Breakfast. Additionally he has taken on the role as host of Punters Post Mortem every Monday from 9am to 10am.

Affectionately known as 'Slats' he played 74 tests and 42 one day internationals for Australia in an 11 year cricket career. Swapping the willow for the microphone he has broadcast many international cricket matches and he co-hosts with TK The Big Sports Breakfast each weekday from 5.30 am.

Andrew Bensley
Andrew Bensley

From a background in country radio and the Channel 9 Network, he maintains a hectic schedule on Sky Sports Radio and Sky Racing. In addition to his uncanny ability to break the latest racing news stories on radio and television, he also hosts the informative Inside Running program on Sky Sports Radio from 6:30 am on Saturdays and public holidays. Another avenue for Bensley’s breaking news scoops is on Racing HQ, Tuesday to Friday, from 9am to 10.30am.

Jimmy Smith
Jimmy Smith

Since having joined the Sky Sports Radio stable, Jimmy’s versatility has been a valuable asset. Graduating to the media from an 11-year professional rugby league career he has transferred his on-field vigour to vitality on television and radio. His regular role is co-host of Sports Sunday, three-hours of sporting coverage comprising an hour of racing and two-hours of general sport. During the winter, of course, rugby league is the dominant subject during the final two-hours. Also during the summer months Jimmy, in tandem of Stuart Clark, hosts the Big Sports Breakfast Summer Edition.

Famed former Australia and NSW cricketer, Stuart Clark, joined the Sports Sunday team in 2011. He has a well-rounded sports knowledge and an articulate presentation. Recreationally, he harbours a deep passion for his beloved Cronulla Sharks. Stuart has been a member of the Sky Sports Radio team since 2007 and is a co-host of the Big Sports Breakfast Summer Edition. During summer 2011/12, he has the added responsibility of General Manager for the Sydney 6ers Big Bash League competition.

Ron Dufficy
Ron Dufficy

A former jockey, he effortlessly changed gait to be panellist on Sky Racing’s Racing Retro and earned an enviable reputation as a top thoroughbred authority on Sky Sports Radio. From plying the whip to trying the tip, his winner-selecting talent is evident as the late mailman from metropolitan tracks and as co-host with Andrew Bensley of the Inside Running. Ron also joins the panel of Punters Post Mortem hosted by TK each Monday morning from 9am.

Andy is known at Sky Sports Radio as 'Mr Soccer'. If its happening in the world game then Andy always is the first person to reveal it to the Big Sports Breakfast listeners. Previously he worked for SBS Television 1984-1994 and Fox Sports 1995-2003. One of Australia's leading football broadcasters, he has presented and reported big football events including the 1990 & 1994 World Cup finals and the 1996 & 2000 European Championships. Andy can be heard daily at 7.20am on the Big Sports Breakfast.

Rod Gallegos

A passionate Queenslander, Rod is one of Australia's most experienced racing journalists. He can be heard daily at 6.30am on the Big Sports Breakfast and is Sky Sports Radio's Program Manager.

Glenn started with TAB Sportsbet (or SportsTAB as it was known) back in 1999 and has been around the racetrack since birth. Now the face of TAB Sportsbet informing customers with all the latest on Sports and Racing. He is co-host of The Punting Club, broadcast on Sky Racing.

Miracle Mal
Malcolm Johnston

From glamour jockey to rascally raconteur – it has been an easy transition for the man who luxuriates in the pseudonym, Miracle! He now provides his insightful slant on racing during the Winners Circle racing segment of Sports Sunday from 7am. As a jockey he won three premierships, one as an apprentice which was no mean feat considering the depth of the Sydney riding ranks of that era. He also had a wonderful association with one of the all-time greats, Kingston Town. In addition to his radio commitments Malcolm lends his talents to television on Sky Racing World during the weekly programme, Off the Rails.

Adam “Mad Dog” Royter

A passionate fishing follower he has garnered a wealth of experience in this field with television fishing programs and fishing magazines. While he sometimes has a zany approach he also takes his fishing seriously. From a red-headed boy hooking an eel in a Croydon creek he has graduated to much bigger fish. Regarded as one of the most authoritative experts on the rod and reel pastime he will keep listeners hooked as co-host of the Weekender, 5-7am Sundays

Daryl Beattie

After more than a decade as a member of the Network Ten motorsport team he will add further depth to the commentating strength of the station. Daryl’s credentials in motorsport are highlighted by his win in the 500cc German Grand Prix in 1993. He enjoyed further success throughout a spectacular 18-year career riding motorcycles including his teaming with Wayne Gardner in 1992 to win the Suzuka 8 hour endurance in Japan and a place on the Honda factory team along side fellow Aussie Mick Doohan in 1993. Daryl Co-hosts The Weekender with Adam Royter.

Racing editor of the Daily and Sunday Telegraph he is one of the most respected racing journalists in Australia. Ray is a regular on the Winners’ Circle, the racing segment of Sports Sunday. His insightful views and up-to-date news adds considerable authority to the racing radio programs. As well at Sports Sunday Ray also appears periodically on Inside Running.

Alan Thomas
ALAN THOMAS

Alan has wide experience calling major sports events for radio and television, but his first love is racing. He is the Sky Racing network's principal Queensland caller and correspondent.

Mattew Hill
MATTHEW HILL

Matthew was the inaugural winner of the John Tapp Race Calling Scholarship in 1999. He now has assumed the role of No. 1 Sydney race caller for Sky Sports Radio.

Paul Ambrosoli
PAUL AMBROSOLI

Paul is Australia's best-known greyhound race caller. He began his career in 1968. In the years since, his voice has become synonymous with Sydney greyhound racing. Paul was recently inducted into the AGRA - Hall of Fame.

Hilton Donaldson
HILTON DONALDSON

Hilton joined the Sky Racing network after working as a racecaller with 3UZ in Melbourne and 5AA in Adelaide. He is now our Adelaide-based, South Australian race caller and correspondent.

Josh Fleming
JOSH FLEMING

From country Queensland, Josh was the second recipient of the John Tapp Race Calling Scholarship in 2003. Now a full time caller and presenter for the Sky Racing network, he is a rising star in racing media.

Fred Hastings
FRED HASTINGS

Fred is the No. 1 harness race caller for Sky Racing Network. After a period as a race day coordinator and subsequently program manager he now has achieved his lifetime goal of being a full-time race caller. Almost two decades ago he began his calling career at the Richmond Greyhounds.

Kevin Thompson
KEVIN THOMPSON

Kevin is a long-standing caller of harness racing in NSW for the Sky Racing network. He has enjoyed a love affair with the sport since he first attended a Harold Park meeting in 1965.

MITCHELL MANNERS
MITCHELL MANNERS

The third John Tapp Scholarship winner and a graduate of what colloquially is called The Alan Thomas Academy for Race Callers. The son of a former jockey, he now is living the dream, devoting his working day as a race caller on The Sky Racing Network.

Rod Fuller
Rod Fuller

A solid all-round race caller with 20 years of experience in the three codes. Originally a presenter/caller with 2KY moved to Sky Racing as a presenter/caller in February 2002. Subsequently he enjoyed a seachange by being based at Coffs Harbour to become the main caller for all northern New South Wales tracks extending from Murwillumbah to Taree.

John McDermott
John McDermott

For about four decades he has been the voice of racing in the Hunter region of New South Wales. His great racing love, though, is greyhounds and his concise, authoritative calls of greyhound events in the Hunter are broadcast throughout the Sky Racing Network. His contribution to greyhound racing has been acknowledged by the NCA with a race, The Macca, named in his honour.

Brett Considine
Brett Considine

A recent addition to the Sky race caller ranks, he has a rather unique background for this field. A lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the Macquarie University, he has harboured the ambition to be a race broadcaster. Interwoven with his absorbing academic accomplishments he has been calling non-TAB meetings and picnic meetings to further hone his skills.

Luke Marlow
Luke Marlow

The latest recipient of the John Tapp Race Caller Scholarship, Luke hails from Rockhampton in central Queensland. His youth belies his experience, because apart from an innate skill to call races he has assisted his parents on their thoroughbred stud and regularly rode track work for his father who has a trainer's licence.
